This week, our event overview starts in Dresden: On May 7, Philipp Zeller will perform as a soloist with the Dresdner Staatskapelle conducted by Carlo Goldstein, where he will play Weber's Concerto for Bassoon and Orchestra in F Major, Op 75. On May 12, the bassoonist will travel to the German Mozart Festival in Augsburg, where he will perform the Schubert Octet with Sarah Christian and Maximilian Hornung, among others.

Once again, we expect many exciting music events in the new week. Right at the beginning of the week, on April 30 and May 1, Nicholas Rimmer will perform the Beethoven cycle, together with Tianwa Yang, in Warfleth. The program includes the sonatas op. 12 no. 1-3, sonata in a minor, op. 23, sonata in g major, op. 96, sonatas op. 30 no. 1-3, sonata in f major , op. 24 and Sonata in A minor, op. 47 "Kreutzer". We would like to start our preview for the last week of April with a very special event note: On April 27 and 28, the violist Nils Mönkemeyer will organize the Elysium festival in cooperation with Caritas Bonn for the second time. The festival’s goal is to overcome social boundaries, and to provide access to the joy of music for disadvantaged people. For this reason, the festival arranges partnership tickets and small concerts in and among care and homeless institutions. The new week starts with a large number of exciting music events on a national and international level. Joseph-Maurice Weder will continue his successful tour in South America with four more concerts: on April 17 and 18, he will perform as a soloist in Brasília and will be guesting in Buenos Aires on April 21 and 22. The new spring week begins with an exciting concert in the historic Gemeindesaal Bonn: On April 9, cellist Oren Shevlin will perform at the concert „Aus dem Schatten heraus: Komponistinnen“. As part of an ensemble of flute, oboe, violin, violoncello and piano, he interprets works by female composers such as Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Rebecca Clarke, Lili Boulanger and others. Once again, we begin our preview with a "new face": Korbinian Altenberger gives a recital in Seefeld on April 8th.
